Tamika Fowler

Tamika leads Human Resources for OppCo and is incredibly excited to be of service and contribute to effective community development and sustainability for underserved neighborhoods and communities. A lifelong advocate, Tamika champions and supports the fostering of equitable Human Resources Best Practices and solutions. Her work helps OppCo’s organizational members succeed by being focused on their core businesses while working alongside our wonderful teams in promoting a diverse workforce of Inclusivity. Previously, Tamika has managed and led distributed work teams across the U.S. prior to the COVID-19 pandemic. She leads and supports Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Initiatives by partnering with residential services organizations, institutions, and others committed to racial, economic and social equity imperatives meant to effectively inform internal and external practices and outcomes for underserved, oppressed, traumatized and socioeconomically disadvantaged groups. Born and raised on the South Side of Chicago and the eldest of six, Tamika enjoys traveling, spending time with family and learning new ways to do things. She holds a BA in Communications and MBA in Human Resources, both obtained in Chicago. Tamika is thrilled to work collaboratively with everyone within the OppCo family to enhance, reinvent and model the OppCo values necessary in realizing our goals.
