Christopher Scoville

In Chris Scoville’s current role in the Affordable Housing division of M&T Bank, he is responsible for cultivating relationships with and originating construction and permanent financing solutions to for-profit and non-profit affordable housing developers across New England and New York State. Chris previously served as a Vice President for Community Preservation Corporation, a New York-based CDFI that provides affordable housing financing solutions for emerging and established developers in New York, and prior to that worked in Eastern Bank’s Community Development Lending division where he originated over $500 million in financing commitments to affordable housing developers and communities across New England. Chris is on the boards of Historic Boston, Inc. and Trillium Community Land Trust and is a member of the Finance Committee of the Animal Rescue League of Boston. He previously served as Treasurer and President of the board of the Boston Preservation Alliance. After living in Boston and Cambridge for nearly 20 years, Chris relocated to the Berkshires in 2023.
